The Galician Aerospace Consortium (CAG) organises the International Aerospace Congress (CIAG) annually, bringing together leading representatives from the aerospace and aeronautics industry, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, global organisations and government bodies.

The main objective is to discuss the industry’s new strategic directions and to share the knowledge and assessments of the various stakeholders regarding the sector’s expected future, the opportunities offered by support for aircraft in service, and the projects currently underway in the field of unmanned aircraft.

The eighth edition of the CIAG will take place in the city of Santiago de Compostela on 28 and 29 October 2026. On Wednesday 28 October, a Welcome Cocktail will be held in the city of Santiago de Compostela for speakers, institutions and key companies in the sector. The 8th International Aerospace Congress will take place on 29 October.

During the CIAG, various studies by the Aerospace Industry Observatory will be presented; this initiative is promoted by the Regional Government of Galicia through the Regional Ministry of Economy and Industry.
