The Galician Aerospace Consortium was created on October 10, 2007 formed by 53 companies belonging to the Galician metallurgical sector, in order to promote and develop the aeronautical sector in Galicia and achieve a higher level of innovation, research and competitiveness, throughout the sector.
The CAG is composed of more than 30 organizations, all linked to the aeronautical sector, grouping companies, universities and technological centers of the autonomous community of Galicia.
The CAG, among other organizations in which it participates, is the founding patron of the CINAE (Galicia Aerospace Innovation Center Foundation) and in such important activities as the UAV’S Initiative project of As Rozas (Lugo) or the creation of the university degree in Aerospace Engineering.
